New Year, New Blog

The reasoning for the creation of this blog isn’t really because of the New Year/2017. It just seemed like a good time to officially turn over that new leaf. Besides, it’s the third week of fucking January so I haven’t exactly been ‘on it’ when it comes to writing and blogging.

The title of this place, 40 Years Before The Snow, alludes to this being a new writing and thinking space associated with a new stage in my life. I’ll get to the explanation of that in later updates however the main point of this post is to explain the intent of this site and the how to interact with me regarding anything that you’ve read.

This blog, this website, this space… it’s for me. No one else. If you’re reading this, it’s because I’ve told you about it or because you have somehow stumbled onto it accidentally.

I have turned off Search Engine Indexing of this site, I (think) I have turned off the ability to Comment and especially to Like posts and generally social media interactions should be turned off as well. Because of the private nature of this site, chances are… if you’re reading it then you already know my cell number and/or my email address. If you want to communicate with me about anything you read here, feel free to use those methods to do so. Or just talk to me. I may enable an email feature to make it more convenient to do so in the moment but, for now, that’s it.

So… stay tuned for updates.
